Eventually all the communities in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area are currently happy as the Executive Chairman of the Council,Hon. Prince Marcel Amadioha received certificate of return.This newspaper learnt that reasons for Hon. Amadioha’s emergence during APC primary elections of 3rd September,2024 were not far-fetched from his grassroot-oriented politics and selfless leadership during his reign as the Sole Administrator of Ohaji/Egbema LGA.Hon. Kingsley Chigozie Omuruka who spoke to newsmen on Tuesday at Imo State Independent Electoral Commission, ISIEC office praised the Executive Governor of Imo State,His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma,Imo State APC Chairman, MacDonald Ebere(PhD), Ohaji /Egbema stakeholders and Party faithful for they have carefully looked inward and chose the best among the best,Hon. Prince Marcel Amadioha to bear the Party flag in the just concluded Local Governments elections of 21st September,2024 Imo Councils elections.He revealed that Hon.Amadioha remains the only person among those who contested for Ohaji/Egbema chairmanship primary election that has capacities to unite the oil rich region, recalling how he restored peace in Ohaji /Egbema communities during his reign as SOLAD of the LGA.”We are happy with the emergence of Hon.Marcel Amadioha as the Executive Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema. And we are going to give him maximum support”,he promised.Another critical stakeholder,Hon. Amaechi Promise John expressed happiness over the victory of Prince Amadioha, noting that he will enjoy massive support of people across every community in Ohaji/Egbema.”Hon. Amadioha has no political enemy, and he is a selfless leader”,he maintained.Speaking to newsmen immediately after receiving his certificate of return,Hon. Prince Marcel Amadioha thanked his people for electing him and promised not to disappoint them.He assured his people all-inclusive government promising to use all resources available judiciously to develop the oil producing LGA.
