The President-Generals of the twenty autonomous communities in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State led by Hon. Kingsley Chigozie Omuruka have pledged total support for the newly elected executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Prince Marcel Amadioha.
The community leaders paid courtesy visit to the executive Chairman, Hon. Amadioha in his office at Mmahu on Tuesday 5th November, 2024.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Omuruka who is the President-General of Obile Autonomous Community, Ohaji/Egbema President of all President-Generals and President of Imo State Council of Town Unions congratulated the executive Chairman on his victory in the poll and wished him a successful tenure.
Hon. Omuruka popularly called “Blocker” seized the opportunity to thank the executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for a peaceful Local Governments elections on 21st September, 2024.
He recalled that Hon. Amadioha had earlier inaugurated them as PGs when he was the Interim Management Committee Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area.
The community leader charged the executive Chairman to take Ohaji/Egbema to next level and reiterated their support for the Chairman.
Responding, the executive Chairman thanked the PGs for identifying with him.
He promised to carry them along as well as making sure that any available fund meant for Ohaji/Egbema is judiciously utilized.
